Using the Registry editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that may require the operating system to be reinstalled and can result in the potential loss of data.

Restart your computer.The Clock, Volume, Power or Network icon may be missing from the system tray on the taskbar and the checkboxes in the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties window used to enable the system icons may be grayed out.
